MULTI RIBBED BELT
Multi ribbed poly-V belts are drive belts with larger contact areas than flat belts or standard V-belts, which means they can transmit more power than a flat belt of a similar length and width. This means that they are excellent when you require high speed drives within a small space. You have no need for a stepped pulley if you use a poly-V belt, and you can also drive several accessories from one belt drive if you use a serpentine belt installation.
The greater power provided by a poly ribbed V belt means a reduction in energy costs. These belts are also very quiet in comparison to their flat belt counterparts.

The ribbed belt combines the high flexibility of the flat belt with the high performance of the V-belt. The V-shaped parallel ribs are made from a wear-resistant rubber compound. The high strength tension cord is designed for the many applications of the ribbed belt.
It is embedded in a rubber adhesive mixture and covers the entire width of the ribbed belt. Fibre reinforced, wear resistant rubber compounds ensure quiet operation, oil and heat resistance and a long belt life.
